Flash fiction prompt: Lost in Twixtmas

I’m hoping you’re all having a fabulous festive time, filled with joy and love and rest.  As we head into the days between Christmas and New Year, Twixtmas takes over. Days filled with leftovers and occasional strolls and hours lost to television binges. Nobody knows what day it is, let alone when to put the bins out.

Time melts around the edges, in the most pleasing of ways.

So in between sleeping/walking off the sausage rolls and mince pies, why not use some of those wayward hours for a little flash fiction prompt?

And in the spirit of these confusing days, this time the theme is ‘time warp’. Whether that’s a period mashup, something lost (or found) in time, a meditation on the passing of it, or a catchy song you might be familiar with, get down 500 words on the theme and share a link to your stories in the comments below. For those that love a deadline and can remember what day it is, aim to have your stories in by 5^th January 🖤
